Amazing vtg BLACKGLAMA FEMALE mink fur jacket HUGE sleeves, ROUNDED edges, MINT

  

This is an absolutely beautiful longer length genuine FEMALE mink fur BLACKGLAMA swingbacked jacket in MINT and immaculate condition. No thinning shedding or guardhair loss. The fur is very very soft silky and supple, it feels like velvet. There is a LOT of fur in this jacket as you can see from the photographs.

It's a gorgeous design, the fully stranded pelts have been laid vertically to the hemline which is a horizontal full pelt with rounded front edges, superb! The pelts are narrower at the top then gradually widen from beneath the collar to the hemline so it swings and sways when walking. Hidden slit pockets in seams lined in the same iridescent brown satin as the jacket lining. The lovely stand-up mandarin collar is backed with fur, can also be worn open. The sleeves are HUGE, pleated at the shoulder edges and gathered into tight cuffs. The colour is gorgeous, a very glossy darkest brown, almost black. The underfur is darkest brown, thick and dense and the very long silky guardhair is darkest brown/black. This is the closest to black you will get with natural undyed mink. Lined in dark brown iridescent satin, no holes or marks, super condition. Pleated at the shoulders to match the fur. Has a lovely pleat down the centre back.

Fastens with two hook and eyes, the eyes are set-in 2 from the edge. There is a large art deco style button and elasticated loop to fasten to the throat. There is a satin loop to hang but please use a padded coathanger. There is no odour to this at all.

Measurements as follows from the lining side. Length centre back from base of collar 30.5. Pit to pit 25 due to the swingback style.

Sleeve length from shoulder edge 25. Sleeve width at armpit area 13" so all round 26". I'm a UK12/14, fits quite loosely as designed when fastened. Suitable for sizes 10-16, possibly 18 I would say, but please check measurements against a coat/jacket of your own to ensure that it will fit. It's knee length on me but I'm only 5'2.
